Training Training Guidebook and Training

As the summer season closes, I feel good about my fitness going into “actual” climbing season.  I’ve been training hard at the gym, not only “projecting” problems, but also training – weighted (20 lb) V0 climbing and P90x Ab ripper X after each of my gym training sessions.

I’m really excited to get out tomorrow; The American Alpine club event is this weekend and I am also doing a photo clinic at Crimpers Climbing Gym in Virginia Sunday.  Life is good.

I helped make a climbing video at our Gym in Charleston – the Energy Rock Gym:

Also, the Grayson Highlands Guidebook has been coming along just great.  We are almost done with the main text and problem descriptions and then we’ll go into some serious text editing, then off to the printer!

Here are a few sample pages from the book:

I bought a Bass Boat for super cheap about three weeks ago and have been fixing and getting it ready for some serious bass fishing.  Nothing major, the engine works fine, though i’ve been having some electrical problems – mainly with the trolling motor.  My dad has an old trolling motor at home that I’m going to use I think on my boat once I can get home to get the motor.
